DAVID BERTOK

Born in Bratislava, Slovakia and raised in Munich, Germany, David relocated to Los Angeles in 2012 to attend the SMPTV program at the University of Southern California as a Fulbright Scholar. With his roots in classical and jazz piano and progressive rock, David’s stirring melodic sensitivity along with his creative production give his music a unique voice. Whether he’s scoring a film with a full orchestra or writing pop music featuring electronic production, David Bertok strives to exceed all expectations. 

Recent credits include composing for feature films “Botero” and “Brittany Runs a Marathon” (Amazon), TV Shows “Chef’s Table” and “Home Game” (Netflix) and “T@gged” (Hulu). He also worked as arranger for the 2018 “Where’s the Drop?” album by Deadmaus.

KARA ELDRIDGE BERTOK

David’s wife and favorite collaborator, Kara, lends her voice to a number of David’s projects including the upcoming feature film, “Peace by Chocolate.” A classically trained singer, she would much rather belt out an 80’s power ballad. She has been a professional emcee for over 10 years and runs her own company, Kara Karaoke Entertainment.

When Kara isn’t emceeing or adding vocals to her husband’s projects she’s probably still in the studio recording voice overs. Her mad karaoke skills have been featured on Bar Rescue where she was an undercover karaoke expert. She is also an active member of the Angel City Chorale where she competed on America’s Got Talent in 2018.
